One of the perks of being a qualified massage therapist is that, within reason, our skills are recognised in other countries. Personally this wasn’t much of a draw for me when considering a career swerve, but for some people it’s very appealing.
After all her efforts this year, both with Bristol Massage Therapy and undertaking her Yoga Teacher Training qualification, Rosie Kelly will be taking a sabbatical and is heading for the hills, or rather the mountains.
She will be heading to Chamonix at the end of November and will spend the winter season there working as a mobile massage therapist for Massage Me, a well known and highly reputable company who seek to provide a high quality mobile massage service in more than 25 resorts. Rosie will be part of the inaugural team helping to establish the company’s presence in Chamonix, but she will also be offering private appointments directly.
We will be very sad to see the (temporary) departure of Rosie from the BMT team, but she will still be part of the family, and we look forward to her return at around the end of April 2020.
Heading to Chamonix?
If you, or anyone you know, is heading to Chamonix this winter do feel free to get in touch with Rosie to book your massage appointments ahead of time. If she’s anything like as popular over there as she is here at BMT, she’ll be booked up in no time!
