Meet Lindsay Furness
Lindsay Furness is a very impressive and organised woman. Which is lucky because she lives a very full life. Not long after her son was born, she decided to retrain to become a massage therapist so that she could build her life and work around his needs. So she enrolled on the Holistic Massage Diploma with Bristol College of Massage & Bodywork.
Quite quickly Lindsay realised that she wanted to develop her knowledge and understanding to focus more upon working with women, particularly during their pregnancy and into their postnatal period. So she signed up to complete the Massage & Pregnancy Diploma with Well Mother, a course and syllabus which is seen as the global gold standard for pregnancy massage.
Not only has massage provided the work / life balance that she was seeking, but Lindsay is passionate about the role that massage can play in our lives. It also turns out she's really very good at it! Hence being part of the Bristol Massage Therapy team.
When Lindsay isn't massaging, she lives on a narrow boat on the Kennet & Avon canal with her family. She regularly offers her expertise to a couple of local charities that supports mothers through the ups and downs of pregnancy and motherhood.
