Meet Amber Daltrey
I am fascinated by the body's mechanics and what it is physically capable of achieving. I explore this by regularly weight training in the gym, so for me the transition from desk job to massage couch was a natural one which allowed me to physically move and use my body.
After completing the holistic massage course at the Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork in 2015 I practiced massage aimed mostly at emotional well-being and relaxation. I enjoy helping someone to find that important time and space for themselves when life becomes stressful.
I soon wanted a deeper understanding of anatomy so I went on to undertake a level 5 diploma in sports and remedial massage. This fed my appetite giving me a much higher level of knowledge for anatomy and physiology while also giving me the tools to treat a range of musculoskeletal complaints. My passion for weight training has given me an archive of exercises and stretches which are helpful for home care advice when working with clients who might like some extra help.
During a treatment I will listen to the clients needs and provide a treatment to reflect this; often relieving pain, freeing constricted areas and making sure you leave feeling relaxed.
I regularly enjoy massage treatments so I am in optimum condition to treat others while also learning new skills.
